Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) Oil

Palm oil mill effluent is the voluminous liquid waste that comes from the sterilization and clarification processes in milling oil palm. The processes of palm oil extraction and purification generate a large amount of wastewater known as palm oil mill effluent (POME).

POME is a waste-based feedstock that is collected at palm oil mills during the palm oil production process. Extracted from the wastewater of palm oil mills, POME oil is a renewable by-product that we recover and refine into sustainable feedstocks.
